My Own Pillar of Light

 Alma 32:35 

  • O then, is not this real? I say unto you, Yea, because it is light; and whatsoever is light, is good, because it is discernible, therefore ye must know that it is good; and now behold, after ye have tasted this light is your knowledge perfect?

I have not seen a pillar of light, but Individual rays of light can be gathered into my own pillar of light. Here are my little "rays" gathered together into one place.

Fasting in the Lords way...

In light of our upcoming fast, I thought it would be good to review this talk by Pres. Eyring: "Is Not This The Fast That I Have Chosen?" (after reading it, see if you feel like we should all make an online fast offering donation on Friday as well. I don't know about you, but when I participate in "special fasts", I don't usually think about making a fast donation, even though the simplest part of the fast is that we take the money we would have spent on food and donate it to the poor. After reading this, I think that should be part of every fast. If you agree....share this part of the fast on Friday with your friends and family, to increase the power of our fasting and prayers.) How will the Secret Combinations be overthrown?

Today I read this in 2 Nephi 11: 4 Behold, my soul delighteth in proving unto my people the truth of the coming of Christ; 6 And my soul delighteth in proving unto my people that save Christ should come all men must perish; 8...that whoso of my people shall see these words may lift up their hearts and rejoice for all men . I thought, wow...I have really been engaged in searching the scriptures and the words of the prophets to try to "prove" that God is going to do a "marvelous work and a wonder" among the children of men in response to this pandemic that will open the door for massive conversion to the gospel.
