God's Promises to Israel

 These are the promises I'm finding in my study:


1.  2 Nephi 29: And I will show unto them that fight against my word and against my dpeople, who are of the ehouse of Israel, that I am God, and that I fcovenanted with gAbraham that I would remember his hseed iforever.

As we go into some tough times and persecution, this promise will be very important! God will not forget His people and He's going to show that to those that fight against His word and His people.

Fasting in the Lords way...

In light of our upcoming fast, I thought it would be good to review this talk by Pres. Eyring: "Is Not This The Fast That I Have Chosen?" (after reading it, see if you feel like we should all make an online fast offering donation on Friday as well. I don't know about you, but when I participate in "special fasts", I don't usually think about making a fast donation, even though the simplest part of the fast is that we take the money we would have spent on food and donate it to the poor. How will the Secret Combinations be overthrown?

Today I read this in 2 Nephi 11: 4 Behold, my soul delighteth in proving unto my people the truth of the coming of Christ; 6 And my soul delighteth in proving unto my people that save Christ should come all men must perish; 8...that whoso of my people shall see these words may lift up their hearts and rejoice for all men . I thought, wow...I have really been engaged in searching the scriptures and the words of the prophets to try to "prove" that God is going to do a "marvelous work and a wonder" among the children of men in response to this pandemic that will open the door for massive conversion to the gospel.
