My Book of Mormon Testimony
I wrote this to put in the front of a Book of Mormon for my niece to hand to investigators on her mission.
Congratulations!
You have just opened the most important book of your life! This book has been
written, and preserved, to come forth in YOUR day. Did you know that you live
in a Covenant Land? This record tells of two other civilizations who have lived
here and not been allowed to stay because they did not keep the covenant of
this land. But THIS time, this land will become the birthplace of the New
Jerusalem and the city of Enoch will return to the earth to dwell with the
saints here in peace and safety. But before that it will be “cleansed” of all
unrighteousness. This book has come to you NOW, so that you can choose to be
among those God will miraculously preserve during these last days to usher in
the Second Coming of our Lord and Savior, Jesus Christ. Gather your family in
to the House of Israel and be partakers of the Covenant Promises God has made
to His Covenant people. Make and keep
sacred Covenants in the waters of baptism and in the Holy Temple of the Lord and
bind yourself to your loved ones on both sides of the veil. The time is short
and you were saved for such a time as this. It is no accident that you have
found this book now. Please read it with an open heart. Your Spirit already
accepted God’s Plan of Happiness before you were born. Listen to your heart
tell you that this is all familiar; that you only need to remember it’s
truthfulness. The most important thing you need to know right now is that you
are free to choose. You don’t have to know everything. You just have to believe
and have faith and God will reveal the truth of all things to you in time. I
know this record is the “most correct book on earth and that you can get closer
to God by reading this book and abiding by its precepts than any other book.”
You have found the Church of Jesus Christ. He needs you and wants you to join
him in his victory over Satan. He is going to rule and reign as King of Kings,
and Lord of Lords. Hallelujah!
